Beating The Weapons

Emerald Weapon

Here is what you need:
Underwater materia(optional) 2 mime materias, Knights of the Round (Lv.4 or master), Final Attack Materia, W-Summon, and The Phoenix materia.

Here is how you beat it:
Equip cloud with Knights of the Round paired with HP Absorb. Equip the strongest character with Final attack Paired with Phoenix. Equip The 2 other characters (not cloud) with mime. Now, have cloud Cast Knights of the round. Have the other characters use mime. Repeat this until he dies as long as you have put an MP absorb with KOTR MP's are not a problem if you didn't keep Clouds MP up (he can only cast K.O.T.R. twice) and if you die don't worry, the last person will be your strongest and that character has final attack which will bring them all back with full life. This is the basic technique and you should use to help you defeat the Emerald Weapon.

Ruby Weapon

Here is what you need:
Cloud at least Lv.90(this is the absolute minnimum! I couldn't beat him at level 90 but I'm not the most strategic player ever so I'm assuming it can be done.), Knights of the Round(master), W-summon, Ribbon, A lot of x-potions, turbo ethers, and time.

Here is how to beat it:
Equip cloud with all your best stuff. Kill your other partners off and go into battle, don't worry about killing your partners, he will suck them into the sand anyway and this way you get to choose which one stays. This guy is pretty damn hard because you only have 1 person and If you use W-summon and K.O.R. then it gets old real fast, if you already fought The emerald weapon then you know what I mean. The tenticals are a pain in the ass if you don't get rid of them fast. Also, go into the battle with your limit bar full, Use omnislash on the tenticals, that will kill them and you will have time to go into battle full and stuff. Don't try to use omnislash on the weapon, it only does like 1000 a whack. I think that the Ruby Weapon is harder even though the Emerald weapon has a million hit points. I have a lot of trouble with these guys so I'm assuming you will too but you might not have trouble beating them with these techniques.
